God himself spoke saying, “in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength.”

I believe these are keys to strength in a believers life. Wasting your breath is going to drain you of much needed energy. So learn to be quiet. Quiet because you have trust in God. Quiet because then you can listen to what the Spirit is saying and do accordingly.

Confidence being the other key to strength can get cast away. Therefore there is an exhortation to “cast not away your confidence, for it has a great reward.” Who can be confident but the one who knows God? They that know their God shall be strong and do exploits. When I know the nature of God, when I know the character of God, when I have experienced his presence or power, it makes me confident that the next time I face a trying situation, I have nothing to be anxious about or fear or grumble and complain. That is the time to show confidence in God! Jesus definitely had confidence in the relationship He had with the heavenly father; in His leading and will. Since we are the children of God we ought to have the same. A confident person is someone who knows for sure. He has no doubts. He is not double-minded. Circumstances do not dictate his words or actions. His relationship with God dictates what he says and does.

What is the meaning of compensation?

Merriam-Webster Dictionary says: “Something that is done or given to make up for damage, or trouble. So in Exodus 22:1-4 we have this rule given to us. When a man stealeth an ox or a sheep, and slayeth it, or selleth it, with five of the herd, shall he make good––for the ox, or with four of the flock, for the sheep. Exod 22:1

We are allowed to be compensated and demand compensation for the damage or trouble that the evil one has caused us. It requires faith in this law to get the benefit of. Let us approach our righteous judge and ask for compensation from the enemy

News about me

Dear Readers/Followers,

I had been involved in a children’s ministry in the city for the past seven months. Then bad things happened, like, I started getting pain in my left hip. So I took leave from the ministry. On visiting the Doctor, it was found out that the disc in my back is pinching the sciatic nerve. I have been resting, praying, taking medication, wearing a belt and the pain has subsided but I am not back to normal. I do not know what is planned for me, for my life is hidden with Christ in God. How long am I going to have to carry this?

I had an opportunity to teach a group of ten people in New Mumbai, but could not go due the above issue a.o. 16.11.15

Raised for us

Jesus raised from the grave

A very important event in the history of mankind- The resurrection of Jesus. Both scripture and history record facts about the death of the man Christ Jesus. But this fact holds equal importance to the Christian faith. Christ died on behalf of our sins according to the scriptures, and He was entombed, and He has been raised on the third day according to the scriptures, and He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. After that He appeared to more than five hundred brethren at one time. And assuming that Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile. You are still in your sins. For if there is no resurrection we are most miserable and most to be pitied. But Christ has been raised out from among the dead, a firstfruit of those who have fallen asleep. For even as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all shall be made alive. Since He was raised and we believe it we are no longer in our sins! Christ has given us the truth about the resurrection by being raised himself – there is a resurrection day, we are to attain resurrection through the obedience of faith.

In the grave

Jesus really died physically. Whilst on the cross, He also felt forsaken by God equal to a kind of spiritual death. He was taken down from the cross and buried in a tomb of another. He would not be there for long, but for three days only. The apostle Peter writes for us that Jesus went to hell for us and to preach to the spirits in prison; and to get the keys from the devil. Before He died, He foretold that He would return from death. My past is buried with Him.

But God

for all sinned and are falling short of the glory of God. Whoever commits sin commits lawlessness. What is sin? All lawlessness is sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar, and His word is not in us. For the subsistence pay which the sinful nature doles out is death.
God is constantly proving His own love to us, because while we were yet sinners, Christ in behalf of us died. Know that He was manifested to take away our sins. look! the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. This is where it happened, on the cross!

Behold! the lamb of God

Behold! the lamb of God

Do you not know that all we who were placed in Christ Jesus, in His death were placed? We were entombed with him through this being placed in His death. Herein is the key to your breakthrough over the sinful nature and bad habits. Meditate on it daily! This is the place to overcome the sinful nature, the world, and the devil. Our old unregenerate self was crucified once for all with Him in order that the physical body dominated by the sinful nature might be rendered inoperative with the result that no longer are we rendering a slave’s habitual obedience to the sinful nature, for the one who died once for all stands in the position of a permanent relationship of freedom from the sinful nature. We died once for all with Christ…

Christ delivered us by the payment of ransom from the curse of the law by becoming a curse in behalf of us, because it stands written, Accursed is everyone who is suspended upon a tree, in order that to the Gentiles the blessing of Abraham might come in Jesus Christ, to the end that the promise of the Spirit we [Jew and Gentile] might receive through faith. The time to receive the blessing is now.

Therefore, since the children share in common with one another blood and flesh, He himself also partook with them in the same, in order that through the aforementioned death He might render inoperative the one having the dominion of death, that is, the devil, and effect the release of those, as many as who by reason of fear of death through the entire course of their lives were held in bondage. We have to realize this, beloved of God.

The gospel-first things

Image  God as to his nature is light, and darkness in Him does not exist. And the light in the darkness is constantly shining. And the darkness did not overwhelm it. And this is the judgment, that the light has come into the universe and is here, and men loved rather the darkness than the light, for their works were pernicious. For everyone who practices evil things hates the light, and does not come and face up to the light lest his works be effectually rebuked. But he who habitually does the truth comes and faces up to the light in order that his works might be clearly shown to have been produced by God. All have sinned and are falling short of the glory of God

Ministry with my Nephew

Josiah and I

With my nephew

My nephew Josiah, taught our house church about Christian community, and, the purposes of the church. This happened on two consecutive Sunday’s. On one Sunday, we heard about how God has planned for us to be in community and not be alone, so that we can love one another, pray for each other, and develop meaningful relationships with others in the body of Christ, that fulfils and satisfies.
On the next Sunday, He taught us why we attend each week. It is to worship God together, develop our spiritual disciplines, learn how to spread the good news. One of the tools that can be used to preach the gospel is the evangecube. Those who accepted the call to preach the gospel were prayed over.
