I appreciate your interest and pursuit of the knowledge of the holy. It’s encouraging for me to know that God is using my podcast “Metamorph” via the hubhopper platform in reaching people in different cities of India. I see that people in New Delhi, Kolkata, Jaipur, Lucknow and other scattered cities are hungry and thirsty for fresh bread and transformation. God wants you to be filled and satisfied.
God is calling people from all walks of life and from every tongue and tribe because He has a deep desire within Himself. I have a revelation of what the deep desire of God is. The one and only God desires a people who belong to Him, and who are not ashamed to acknowledge Him as their God. He states, “You will be my people and I will be your God.” This relationship is not a casual one but a very formal one. With these people He has cut a covenant. Blood has been spilt to establish and confirm the covenant. Therefore, it should not, it cannot, be taken lightly. In order to fulfil this desire, God had a plan.
A long time ago, there was a man called Abram who lived in Ur of Chaldea. Him God called to leave his own country, house and relatives to go to a place he would be shown. God got a positive response through the faith and obedience of Abram. Therefore God established and confirmed His relationship with this man. He even changed this man’s name from Abram to Abraham. Abraham moved from being just a common man to being a friend of God. (Please take note that not everyone gets to be acknowledged as friend by God.)
The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, but God has a desire to have a filial relationship with the one He chooses. The apostle Paul wrote about this in his letters to the Romans & in the second letter to the Corinthians, “Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness? What harmony does Messiah have with Belial? Or what part does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement does God’s Temple have with idols? For we are the temple of the living God—just as God said, “I will dwell in them and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. Therefore, come out from among them, and be separate, says Adonai. Touch no unclean thing. Then I will take you in. I will be a father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says Adonai -Tzva’ot .” (TLV)
Through these records in the scriptures, we can come to an understanding about this deep desire of the only wise God. Every agreement has obligations, terms, promises and signatures. There is a call to separate from the common to be a treasured possession. What is unclean for God should be unclean for the one who has been called and chosen to be separated unto God. Getting rid of those traits that are contrary to godliness is the biggest challenge in this relationship between God and his people. Clothing yourself with the good characteristics and letting the mind of God be your mind is difficult though not impossible. For all things are possible to him who believes.
God definitely doesn’t appreciate lip service. There are many who give only lip service. It’s a self-deception for sure.
God’s desire is to have a people who listen and obey, who submit to him, who’s heart is after His heart, who know how to give God credit and the glory due unto His name, who love righteousness and practice kingdom principles. I believe another big challenge in the front of us is being transformed into his true likeness and not conformed to this world’s religious image of who God really is and false ways of serving Him.
